Mittenwald offers cross-country skiers a veritable goldmine of trails – it’s not without reason that biathlon world champions Laura Dahlmeier, Magdalena Neuner and Martina Beck (formerly Martina Glagow) are based here in the valley!
When cross-country skiing, you strengthen your health and increase your mental well-being. In Alpenwelt Karwendel, cross-country skiers will find a network of trails about 150 km long along the Isar River, around lakes, through forests, often with a dream panorama at all levels of difficulty.
The Alpenwelt Karwendel ski schools offer courses for all levels and cross-country safaris across the country. Vacationers commute free of charge with the hiking and ski bus between the most important entry and exit points of the three Alpenwelt resorts Mittenwald, Krün and Wallgau.
