Between GAP and Seefeld

Mittenwald’s ideal location between the Olympic ski resorts of Seefeld and Garmisch-Partenkirchen leaves nothing to be desired:
If you’re up for a bigger challenge, Seefeld offers the ski areas Rosskopf and Gschwandtkopf or in Garmisch-Partenkirchen the ski resorts Hausberg and Kandahar, which you can reach in a short time by car.
It is especially worthwhile to visit the Zugspitz ski area with its magnificent views, easily reached by train from Mittenwald.
If you want variety, you can make day trips from Mittenwald to other ski areas: Ehrwald, Kühtai, Axamer or Stubai can be reached, in some cases, in less than an hour by car.
